Rich Products officials announced they will invest $27 million to expand production at their Morristown, Tenn., manufacturing facility. The additional 2,400 sq. ft. of space will support expanded production of the company’s bakery business, serving national and regional grocery and club retailers.
The expansion will create 51 new manufacturing jobs Hamblen County, bringing total headcount throughout Tennessee to nearly 1,400 people. The project is expected to be complete this September with hiring slated to begin in June of this year.
There apparently were incentives provided by the state’s Dept. of Economic and Community Development.
