Koch Foods Allocating $145.5 Million To Expand in Morton, Mississippi
Poultry processor Koch Foods will spend $145.5 million to expand its plant in Morton, Miss., creating 128 jobs.
Privately held Koch Foods will expand the plant’s processing and distribution operations and otherwise rehab the facility in Scott County. The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive program.
Koch Foods expects to fill the 128 new jobs over the next five years.
“We know that Koch Foods has locations in many states and could have made these expansions at other plants,” said Johnny Harrell, president of the Scott County Board of Supervisors. “We appreciate their commitment to Scott County.”
