Beverage company Primo Brands Corp. announced it has broken ground on a new plant in Hot Springs, Ark., that will support strong demand for The Mountain Valley brand, according to a release sent to Food Processing.
The company hosted a ceremony to officially turn shovels on what will be a multimillion-dollar investment to build an approximately 200,000-sq.-ft. production, logistics and warehouse facility on the site. The company said the capital project represents a major expansion of the brand’s production capacity, and it plans to install one new, small-format production line and two large-format lines at the plant. The Hot Springs facility is expected to be fully operational by spring 2026.
This will be the first new factory for Primo Brands since it was formed from the merger of Primo Water Corp. with an affiliate of BlueTriton Brands Inc. in November 2024. Primo owns packaged beverage and water brands such as Poland Spring, Pure Life, Saratoga, The Mountain Valley and several others, plus flavored and enhanced brands such as Splash Refresher and AC+ION.
