Sesajal Group, a Mexican manufacturer and private label provider of vegetable oils, oilseeds, powders, creams and spreads, plans to build a new warehousing and production facility in Temple, Texas, according to an announcement from the local economic development group.

The Temple Economic Development Corp. (Temple EDC) said the project represents a $30 million investment and will result in a 50,000-sq.-ft. oils refinery and bottling facility with a distribution center, located on 13 acres, employing 54 full-time workers.

Groundbreaking is anticipated in mid-2026, with the facility expected to open about a year later, in mid-2027. The new plant will serve U.S. and international customers, providing private label products for “prominent brands” and major retailers in multiple markets, the announcement noted. Sesajal’s global footprint covers 32 countries, and the company employs more than 2,000 workers.
