Drumroll, makers of refrigerated low-sugar, high-protein donut products, is receiving a $3 million investment from CPG brand incubator 7 Mile Brands, according to a release from the company.

7 Mile was founded in 2023 by Veggie Straws founder Jason Cohen and Sammy Kestenbaum, who founded ParmCrisps and Thinsters Cookies. Drumroll’s products are baked, not fried, and available in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors. Co-founders Hassan Safieddine and Ryan Brothers founded the company after looking for health-conscious on-the-go snack offerings and coming up empty-handed often.

Cohen said 7 Mile Brands was seeking disruptive brands poised to transform their category, and that the investment will help fuel Drumroll’s expansion and impact.

Drumroll donuts are available nationwide at various retail grocery refrigerated sections.
