Refresco Acquires Norwegian Beverage Processor Telemark Kildevann

Global beverage company adds to existing footprint in Nordic region with TKV acquisition.

Global beverage provider Refresco has agreed to acquire Norwegian beverage processor Telemark Kildevann Holding AS (TKV), according to a release from the company. The acquisition builds upon Refresco’s existing footprint in Finland to new areas in the Nordic region.

TKV is a family-owned manufacturer of soft drinks and bottled water, with two production facilities in Norway. It serves retailers and branded customers in Norway and Sweden.

Those two processing plants will join the 75 facilities operated by the Rotterdam, Netherlands-based Refresco throughout Europe, North America and Australia. More than 60 TKV employees will join the Refresco team, which comprises more than 14,000 workers.

The deal, for which terms were not disclosed, is subject to regulatory approval and expected to close later this year.
