Andriani SpA Benefit Corp. (Andriani), an Italian producer of gluten-free and plant-based pasta and foods, officially opened its first North American production facility Oct. 22, 2025, in London, Ont., Canada. The 61,225-sq.-ft. facility was first announced in February 2024, and the final cost for the company was approximately CAD $55 million (about $39.3 million in U.S. dollars) — up from the CAD $33.6 million expected investment announced some 21 months ago.
The Ontario plant gives Andriani an opportunity to manufacture its Felicia brand directly in North America — products made from naturally gluten-free raw materials and high-quality, innovative ingredients, the company noted.
Andriani products are present in major retail chains across more than 50 countries. The facility gives Andriani a stronger international growth trajectory toward its goal to be a key point of reference for North American industry and retailers, the announcement noted.
