Horizon Organic, Wallaby Earn B Corp Seal

Aug. 13, 2024
They were Public Benefit Corporations under Danone, now they are under private equity owner Platinum Equity.

Horizon Organic, the first USDA certified organic dairy brand and largest supplier of organic milk, and Wallaby, its sister brand of Australian-style yogurt and organic Greek yogurt, announced they have achieved B Corp Certification.

Third-party B Lab manages an evaluation process that requires that for-profit businesses meet high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency in a number of areas from employee benefits to supply chain practices to input materials to charitable giving.

Both Horizon Organic and Wallaby were B Corp Certified under Danone North America’s B Corp Certification. Following the acquisition of both brands by Platinum Equity in April of this year, the brands elected to earn their own B Corp Certification.
