TruFood, Bar Bakers Unveil Post-Merger Brand Identity: Tandem Foods

Jan. 13, 2025
Following Spring 2024 merger, the two companies will work in tandem to grow the unified business under its new brand identity, with a new logo and marketing tools to help.

The merged company created by TruFood Manufacturing and Bar Bakers LLC last May has a new name and identity, as announced via a news release. The better-for-you snacks co-manufacturer will be known as Tandem Foods moving forward, dedicated to driving customer growth and innovation in what the company calls the “booming” better-for-you snacks marketplace.

Michael Buick will remain CEO of the renamed company, which expects to benefit from this single, cohesive identity. Tandem Foods has also announced a new tagline, “Powered by Collaboration,” to drive home its commitment to its mission.

Tandem Foods’ logo, featuring a tandem bicycle and emphasized bicycle chain, will represent the partnership and shared effort needed to propel the tandem forward and the smooth, efficient manufacturing processes powering Tandem’s operations, respectively.

Tandem Foods is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minn., and has eight processing facilities nationwide (four in California, three in Pennsylvania, and one in New York). It produces a wide variety of products, including baked, extruded and cold-slab bars, chocolate moulding, cookies, wafers, granola, fruit bars, and more.
