PANOS Brands Acquires Smoked Salmon Company

The Santa Barbara Smokehouse specializes in producing premium smoked salmon products for foodservice and retail customers.

PANOS Brands LLC has acquired The Santa Barbara Smokehouse (SBS) business, a company that produces smoked salmon for foodservice and retail customers.

PANOS expects to bring SBS products, which are differentiated in the marketplace and produced in a smokehouse burning full logs over an open fire kiln, to expanded markets in foodservice and retail, the announcement noted.

This acquisition by PANOS is its second of 2024, with the company having purchased Tessemae’s Salad Dressings & Condiments in January. PANOS Brands is a consumer food products company that manages a portfolio of specialty food brands. The company’s name is an acronym reflecting its mission to provide “Premium, Authentic, Natural, Organic and Specialty” foods throughout the world.
