Lakeview Farms Merges With Noosa Yogurt To Create Novus Foods
Its acquisition of Noosa yogurt from Campbell Co. now complete, Lakeview Farms, a portfolio company of CapVest Partners LLP, changed its name to Novus Foods.
When Campbell acquired Sovos Brands in 2024, which brought it Rao pasta sauces and Michael Angelo’s frozen dinners, the yogurt business stood out as an odd fit. Campbell shopped it around and announced the sale to CapVest on Nov. 12, 2024.
Noosa makes whole-milk, Australian-style yogurt products. It will operate as a stand-alone division of Novus Foods. Noosa brings along a production facility in Bellvue, Colo., and 240 employees.
Lakeview also will operate separately, with its portfolio of refrigerated desserts, dips, salsa, hummus and specialty products. The rebrand to Novus Foods will be completed in the second half of 2025.
