Canadian private-label, packaged cookies and crackers processor Commercial Bakeries Corp., announced it has acquired the Good Food Co. Inc. and Hollandia Bakeries Ltd., manufacturer of soft-baked cookies, according to a release.

Hollandia expects significant benefits “including increased management support and investment,” said Dan Simile, president of Hollandia Bakeries, to accelerate the company’s new chapter of growth. Hollandia operates a baking facility in Mount Brydgets, Ont., with multiple cookie manufacturing and packaging lines. It was founded in 1954.

For Commercial Bakeries, the deal gives it an expanded bakery network. Commercial Bakeries is headquartered in Toronto, Ont., and is owned by Graham Partners: This is the second acquisition by Commercial since Graham acquired it in September 2023. Commercial Bakeries acquired Imagine Baking in May 2024.
