Keurig Dr Pepper Buys Rest of Dyla Powdered Drink Mixes
Keurig Dr Pepper said it’s acquired full ownership of Dyla Brands, a maker of powdered drink mixes and liquid water enhancers. KDP has held a minority stake in Dyla since 2017. Price was not disclosed.
Dyla sells more than 1.5 billion drink mix servings annually. Many are in single-serve stick packs although its own Stur is a squirt-in liquid water enhancer without artificial flavors or sweeteners.
Many of Dyla’s products are licensed offerings under KDP-owned trademarks, including Crush, Hawaiian Punch, 7UP and Snapple. Dyla also has partnerships with third-party brands such as Dole, Ocean Spray and C4, which will continue under KDP’s new ownership. This acquisition complements the company’s Ghost functional powders business.
