Sazerac Acquires Western Son Vodka

Global spirits company adds small-batch spirits company to its extensive international portfolio, including Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.

Sazerac has acquired Western Son Vodka and Distillery, a small-batch spirits company headquartered in Pilot Point, Texas, according to a release from the global spirits company.

Jake Wenz, CEO of Sazerac, explained that Western Son had created a strong brand, and the acquisition offers “an opportunity to continue to augment our portfolio, while also adding additional production capacity and capabilities to our network.”

Western Son produces vodkas as well as a gin product, and it joins the large Sazerac portfolio, which includes Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Traveller Whiskey, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, BuzzBallz, Southern Comfort, Paddy's Irish Whiskey and many more.
