Rastelli Foods Group has acquired select assets from C.W. Brown LLC — including the Botto’s Genuine Italian Sausage brand and use of the company’s Mt. Royal, N.J., processing plant — effective Nov. 3, 2025, according to a release shared with Food Processing.

The deal expands Rastelli’s fresh sausage, fully cooked and value-added products portfolio, adding Botto’s-branded fresh sausage, meatballs and case-ready meats to the roster. Ray Rastelli Jr., president of Rastelli Foods Group, celebrated the deal, citing the opportunity to continue the tradition of the Botto’s brand and build off the authenticity and quality that the 138-year-old C.W. Brown business had developed.

Gaining access to the Mt. Royal facility adds production space beyond Rastelli’s home facility in Swedesboro, N.J., where the company processes a wide variety of meat and seafood for retail, foodservice, export and e-commerce channels.
