Horizon Family Brands Acquires Maple Hill Creamery

Horizon’s portfolio gets a boost on the better-for-you brands side, while Maple Hill gains opportunity to grow its mission and reach more consumers.

Horizon Family Brands has acquired dairy company Maple Hill Creamery, according to a release. The addition of Maple Hill, which produces 100% grass-fed organic dairy products, expands Horizon’s portfolio and strengthens its retail presence.

It also fits with Horizon’s strategic objective to invest in better-for-you brands, according to CEO Tyler Holm. For Maple Hill, joining Horizon will help it amplify its mission and impact, as well as provide an enhanced opportunity for organic dairy products. The companies also will benefit from combined efforts in innovation, supply chain and sustainability.

Both organizations are committed to a smooth integration as well as the subsequent unlocking of the opportunities mentioned above.
