Anheuser-Busch is acquiring 85% of ready-to-drink (RTD) adult beverage company BeatBox for a purchase price of up to approximately $490 million with a path to 100% ownership after five years based on a predetermined pricing formula.
The owner of Budweiser said BeatBox “is known for its bold, fruit-forward, ‘Party Punch’ flavors” – which include blue raspberry, cherry limeade and peach punch at about 11% alcohol. Packaging appears to be the Tetra Prisma. The company bills itself as “The World's Tastiest Party Punch.”
The transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, adds to A-B’s Beyond Beer portfolio, which includes Cutwater Spirits, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer and Phorm Energy.
BeatBox was started in 2011. Justin Fenchel, co-founder and CEO, noted a “long-standing relationship with the Anheuser-Busch team.”
