Gonnella Acquires Lineage Manufacturing Facility in Centralia, Washington
Gonnella Baking Co. has acquired Lineage Manufacturing LLC, a producer of high-quality frozen dough, and will continue to operate its 50,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing space in Lineage’s Centralia, Wash., cold-storage facility, according to a release shared by the company.
The Centralia plant joins Gonnella Frozen Products LLC, and it gives a significant boost to Gonnella’s production capacity as it works to meet rising foodservice and retail demand. The facility features advanced sheeting lines, high-speed production systems, and robotic stacking and conveyor operations that connect production with warehousing. Included in the facility is an innovation center for R&D and product development work.
Centralia employs 39 workers and features 1,600 pallet positions in its frozen warehouse. Lineage Inc. operates a frozen distribution center in the same building and will continue to provide support for Gonnella nationwide, the announcement noted.
The acquisition closed Aug. 1, 2025, the company noted, with a Transition Services Agreement in place through Nov. 30, 2025. The Centralia facility is Gonnella’s third frozen-dough manufacturing facility in the U.S. (joining Illinois and Pennsylvania locations), and Tony Mazukelli, secretary-officer and director of Gonnella Baking Co. said the company now can better serve the continental U.S. more efficiently and with minimal impact in the event of any supply chain disruptions.
