Charcuterie Artisans has announced it has acquired La Quercia Cured Meats from Lynch Family Companies, adding the business to its portfolio which already includes Creminelli, Daniele and Del Duca, according to a release shared with Food Processing.
The deal includes La Quercia’s Norwalk, Iowa, production facility, adding U.S. processing capacity for Charcuterie Artisans, which itself was acquired by an investment fund managed by Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP) in September 2025. The company said in the release that it anticipates investing in the La Quercia brand, the plant and the workforce to support continued excellence and long-term growth. Charcuterie Artisans plans to retain the La Quercia workforce, it said.
Charcuterie Artisans plans to modernize the Norwalk plant, expanding its capacity by 50% and making it a prosciutto-focused production facility. La Quercia had been known for its award-winning prosciutto and other artisanal cured meats. Charcuterie Artisans now boasts more than 660,000 sq. ft. of production space in Iowa, Utah and Rhode Island.
