Unilever Moving U.S. Headquarters to Hoboken, N.J.

Aug. 29, 2024
It’s a short move, and Unilever will have Hain Celestial as a neighbor.

It’s a relatively short move, just 10 or so miles down the Hudson River, but Unilever is moving its U.S. headquarters from longtime home Englewood Cliffs, N.J., to Hoboken, N.J.

The move was first reported Aug. 26 by NorthJersey.com and is expected in March 2025. The website notes it comes after a major update of the company’s Englewood Cliffs campus in 2018. Unilever told NJBIZ it would keep its R&D teams at the current location in Englewood Cliffs.

NJBIZ reported Unilever has signed a long-term lease for the Waterfront Corporate Center. The company will occupy three full floors, covering a 111,000-square-foot space in the 111 River Street Building.

A neighbor will be Hain Celestial, which is moving from Lake Success, N.Y., to 221 River Street of the same development.
