Natural Products Expo West, the huge trade show for natural and emerging food & beverage products, will close a day early this year, ending on Friday instead of its traditional Saturday, and will open an hour later each day.
The show runs Wednesday, March 5, till Friday, March 7, still at the Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center. Instead of a daily 9am opening of the several exhibit halls, they will open to general attendees at 10am, still closing at 6pm, except for Friday when the entire show closes at 2pm.
Thursday and Friday there are Buyer-Only Hours from 9am to 10am. Buyer-Only Hours include retail buyers, hosted buyers, foodservice buyers and health practitioners
Tuesday, March 4, remains dedicated to educational sessions, special events and the Fresh Ideas Organic Marketplace.
“We have adjusted the show schedule to fit the needs of our industry,” Informa Markets, the show sponsor explained on its website. “Our goal with this schedule change is to increase ROI for exhibitors, reduce crowding, allow space for more buyer-only hours, and simplify the product discovery journey.”
