Canadian Brewer Offers a 1,461-Pack of Beers – ‘Enough To Get Through a Presidential Term’
Between the tariffs and Trump’s statements about making Canada the U.S.’ 51st state, there’s anxiety on both sides of the border. To the rescue comes the Presidential Pack from Canada’s Moosehead Breweries: 1,461 bottles of beer on the wall, “just enough Canadian lagers to get through a full presidential term.”
Seeing as they have a prime minister, not a president, they must be talking about our president. Wonder why.
“It's going to take a lot for Canadians to get through the next four years,” the company’s news release says. “If the start of 2025 has taught us anything, it's that it will take determination to weather four years of political uncertainty—and what better way to make it through each day than with a truly Canadian beer,” says Karen Grigg, director of marketing at Moosehead Breweries.
For only $2,477 – we assume that’s Canadian dollars – or a mere $1716 US, Canada’s “oldest and largest independent brewery” will keep you in Mooseheads until the Trump Administration is over. 1,461 is the number of days in four years.
Figuring in U.S. tariffs and shipping is irrelevant; the Presidential Pack is only available in Canadian provinces New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario.
