The Reddy family, which launched Flavor Reddy Foods in 2017, and Bain Capital together have created Trillium Foods, a manufacturer, partly co-man, specializing in dressings, sauces, mayonnaises, syrups and beverage mixes for application in foodservice, retail, and food processing channels.

Trillium Foods is majority owned by the Reddy family. Flavor Reddy Foods, its core, has grown rapidly, driven by key partnerships with long-term strategic customers and a series of acquisitions, including:

  • In 2023, acquired Dominion Liquid Technologies, Cincinnati, which specializes in the production of liquid food and beverage products including syrups, beverage mixes, and sauces.

  • In 2024, acquired Lancaster Fine Foods Lancaster, Pa., a specialty-condiment manufacturer as a carve-out from its previous owner.

  • In 2025, acquired Southern Classic Food Group, Brundidge, Ala., a manufacturer of branded mayonnaise, dressings, sauces and syrups.

The result is Trillium Foods, a team of approximately 500 employees and a manufacturing footprint exceeding 500,000 sq. ft. The company’s facility network can produce more than 1 billion pounds of finished goods annually, with capacity to service existing and new customers.

Ram Reddy is chairman of the company’s board of directors and Ash Reddy is CEO.

“Bain Capital has a long history of supporting founder-owned businesses and we are thrilled to partner with the Trillium team on their next stage of growth,” said June Huang, a managing director at Bain Capital. “Through our extensive experience investing in the food and beverage space, Trillium clearly stood out as a high-quality business with scale and product differentiation.”
