Our Home Snacks Closing Berlin, Pa., Potato Chip Plant

The holding company of several snack brands bought the facility from Utz last year; 96 jobs will be eliminated.

Our Home will close its Snyder’s of Berlin potato chip-making plant in Berlin, Pa., starting in February, according to several local media reports.

The company, under the name PA Potato Chip Manufacturing LLC, filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) last week with the state of Pennsylvania. The notice said the company will begin laying off the 96 employees on Feb. 13, 2026, with the full facility closing by December 2026.

Our Home bought the Berlin plant from Utz Brands in April 2024. Our Home brands include Food Should Taste Good, Popchips and RW Garcia and others.
