FPSA Offers Two-Day Leadership Growth Lab in November

‘Cultivate’ will offer early- to mid-career professionals hands-on leadership development, peer learning and real-world application.

The Food Production Solutions Assn. (FPSA) will host “Cultivate: Leadership Growth Lab” Nov. 5-6 in Lexington, Ky., offering early- to mid-career professionals from across the food & beverage industry hands-on leadership development, peer learning and real-world application.

Unlike traditional leadership conferences built around presentations and lectures, FPSA said, Cultivate is designed as an immersive experience where participants actively practice leadership skills through simulations, facilitated discussions, team challenges, site observations and personal reflection.

The experience begins before attendees even arrive, with a complimentary DiSC assessment that helps participants better understand their communication style, leadership tendencies and how they interact with others.

"Leadership isn't developed by sitting in a room and listening to someone talk about it," said Chris Lyons, president/CEO of FPSA. "Cultivate gives participants the opportunity to practice leadership, receive feedback, learn from peers and see it in action. They will leave with tools they can immediately apply in their careers."

Additional information and registration details – also sponsorship opportunities – are available at fpsa.org/cultivate. Oct. 11 is a hotel reservation deadline and registration closes Oct. 30.
