Stonyfield Organic $7 Million Plant Expansion Will Double Yogurt Pouch Output

May 30, 2023
Londonderry, N.H., facility will produce an additional 46 million organic yogurt pouches annually after the expansion.

Stonyfield Organic has announced it will expand its Londonderry, N.H., facility by 17,000 square feet — the second largest expansion in the brand’s history, the company said in a press release. Stonyfield Organic produces organic yogurt products and first featured organic refrigerated pouches for its products in 2013.

The expansion will accelerate yogurt pouch production and add to the double-digit growth the company says it has experienced in the last five years in the segment, due to growth in its distribution network. New pouch production lines will double the plant’s pouch output, adding 46 million units annually to the facility.

The release added that the building shell will be complete by the end of June and the new yogurt pouch line will be operational in October.
