Custom poultry processor Jarrett Foods announced its newly renovated and expanded processing facility at its headquarters has begun operations.

The facility spans nearly 54,000 sq. ft. now, following an expansion of approximately 9,000 sq. ft. that began in the fall of 2023. The state-of-the-art facility employs 70 employees currently, with plans to ramp up to 300 in the first year of operation.

Based in Canon, Ga., Jarrett Foods offers whole bird cut-up, custom breast and thigh deboning, breast and tender hand-portioning, marination, and re-packing services — a “full range of further-processing capabilities,” as noted by Terry Willis, president of Jarrett Foods, describing what the plant will feature in the release.
