FreshRealm Inc., a food-as-a-service (FaaS) company that develops, manufactures and distributes fresh foods through a variety of channels including retail, has announced it will invest $6.3 million to expand its Montezuma, Ga., plant, creating more than 300 jobs in the region.
FreshRealm serves grocery, foodservice, hospitality, direct-to-consumer, medical and other customers with its fresh food platform. Snow Le, president of FreshRealm, called the Montezuma location an “excellent location for us to strategically reach the entire U.S., especially the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.”
The expansion is expected to enhance current production at the facility and add several new lines, allowing the company to provide ready-to-heat and ready-to-cook meals, meal kits and more throughout the region, the announcement stated.
