Anheuser-Busch’s Iconic St. Louis Brewery Will Get $8 Million in Upgrades
In its latest investment in upgrading its facilities in the past year, Anheuser-Busch announced it will spend $8 million to improve its St. Louis brewery. This is the fourth capital project at Anheuser-Busch breweries announced in the past 12 months — part of a nearly $2 billion investment the company has made in its facilities across the country over the last five years.
Since 2019, the company says it has poured more than $165 million into its St. Louis campus alone, including a renovation and reopening of the Technical Excellence Center, which trains and educates employees looking to advance their careers.
Kyle Topping, senior general manager of the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery, noted the iconic status of the St. Louis brewery and why the investment was significant for the company.
“These continued investments are vital for ensuring we can carry our legacy forward for future generations, while giving back to the town that has already given us so much,” he said. Along with the $8 million investment in the brewery, Anheuser-Busch renewed its commitment to the community, having dedicated nearly $1 million this year into the broader St. Louis region, where it has invested in skills training, entrepreneurship, higher education and more.
Anheuser-Busch’s prior announcements over the past 12 months include: $16 million invested in its Los Angeles facility, announced earlier this month; $6.5 million spent in Williamsburg, Va., announced in August 2024; and $13 million for Cartersville, Ga., announced in late November 2023.
