Anheuser-Busch is continuing to invest in its U.S. breweries with the latest infusion of capital headed toward the Baldwinsville, N.Y., brewery, a $9 million investment that builds upon the beverage behemoth’s more than $2 billion commitment to its manufacturing facilities over the past five years.

The investment in Baldwinsville is part of Anheuser-Busch’s Brewing Futures initiative, a strategy by which the company is pouring more than $300 million into its U.S. facilities this year alone to create and sustain U.S. manufacturing jobs, advance technical skills training, and strengthen career opportunities for veterans in manufacturing, the company noted.

The funding for Baldwinsville will go toward expanding the facility’s “Beyond Beer” production capacity, including the Nutrl Vodka Seltzer and Skimmers Vodka Iced Tea offerings. Anheuser-Busch launched Skimmers earlier this year, while Nutrl has been available since 2022. In addition, the plant will undergo equipment maintenance and refrigeration updates through the investment.

The Baldwinsville brewery has seen nearly $90 million in capital commitments from Anheuser-Busch over the last for years, and this is just the latest move to keep the facility at the top of its game.

In May 2025, Anheuser-Busch announced the Brewing Futures initiative, and since November 2023, Food Processing has reported on seven individual projects at U.S. breweries that averaged some $10 million per project, the last being a March 2025, $4.2 million investment in Williamsburg, Va.
