Tea and Beverage Co-Man Relocates HQ, Processing to Larger Facility
Tea and beverage co-manufacturer Caraway Tea Co. has relocated to a new facility in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., expanding its manufacturing footprint in the process, according to a release from the company.
The processor of premium teas, wellness blends and supplement-infused beverages will now have access to 20,000 sq. ft. for production, blending and fulfillment, with additional capacity available to it to support future growth, the company said.
Caraway Tea, as a result, said it would expand its in-house QC and R&D lab to further strengthen its quality, traceability and compliance work, dedicating more than 500 sq. ft. to the lab. The new facility will be the primary HQ for the company as well as its production center, offering private label, co-packing, custom formulation, blending of supplement-infused teas and foodservice packaging.
Michael Cararway, COO of the company, said the new location will also allow the company to scale up its manufacturing, improve efficiency and continue to innovate.
