National Organic Standards Board Sets Fall Meeting

Registration is required to comment in person or in writing; meeting will be Oct. 24-26.

Registration is now open for the written and live public comment periods for the National Organic Standards Board’s (NOSB) fall meeting, to be held Oct. 24-26 in Providence, R.I.

The NOSB typically meets twice per year in various locations around the U.S. The meeting is also broadcast live. This time, the board will discuss substances petitioned for addition to or deletion from the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, substances due to sunset from the National List in 2025, and recommendations on organic policies.

Meeting materials are now available online. If you want to make live or written comments, you must register. Deadline for both written comments and requests for oral comment speaking slots must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 28.
