Alex Block, 7th grade:With nice clean packaging, these pita chips are pleasantly nice. Each chip, carved into a nice square, is doused with cinnamon and crunches in your mouth. A bad aftertaste can be accepted [if] complemented with a cup of coffee or cinnamon stick. These chips might do well and be enjoyed by all.Maggie Corydan, 7th grade:When we first heard about this product, nobody looked that excited. The packaging is boring and needs colors that will make it stand out and attract customers. There's no flavor at all -- just cinnamon and sugar. They leave a dry taste in your month. It's healthy, so parents may like their children to eat them. It's really crunchy and can be hard to eat if you have braces. Personally, I think salt should be on chips, not cinnamon sugar.Aaron Damashek, 7th grade:This product is obviously not needed. It's a bad version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The sugary part has a good crunchy taste, but the aftertaste is terrible. It also doesn't appeal to the buyer. The normal customer is a little kid, and the whole no-fat, not fried thing really doesn't appeal to them. Its appeal is to the Atkins generation, but they don't do chips. Sorry, but this market is owned by the unhealthy but good-tasting Lay's and Pringle's-type companies.Nadezh Mulholland, 7th grade:The idea of these chips is a good one. The packaging is appealing, particularly since they are packaged like a bag of regular chips. They have an unusual flavor. The taste is good and sugary, and they are much healthier for you than regular chips. This would most likely appeal to adults, particularly parents. They're a good idea because they lessen the amount of preservatives that enter the body in big-chain chips, which makes them a path to a healthier country. The only problem I found with this product is the smell is bad and a bit overpowering.Andrew Billups, 7th grade:The packaging is really boring. It looks like they're targeting old people. It feels really hard and crunchy, not good for old people. It tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Are they necessary? Bryanna Carbaryal, 7th grade:I like the bag; it'll make a lot of old people interested in them. They are sweet and pretty good. Lots of people that are trying to lower their cholesterol would probably buy these. They smell really good, too. I'm pretty sure that younger kids like me wouldn't buy these. Sally Decker, 7th grade:These chips taste pretty good, and would make a good healthy snack for lots of people. Parents would like that they're healthy, and kids would like the sugar. The packaging is nice too, and saying it's 60 percent less fat than leading brands of potato chips is a good way to draw attention. My only complaint is the taste gets a little dull after a while, and my stomach starts to get wheezy. Maybe try varying ingredients to make them more appetizing. The texture gets a little dry, too. With a little improvement, many will love this product.Jessie Salter, 7th grade:The cinnamon smells very good, sweet and spicy. They're really crunchy. Not enough cinnamon, only sweet. Great texture. Package is good. I like that it shows a picture of the food. The cinnamon is not evenly coated, i.e., some are very plain, others way too sweet. Good alternative to potato chips and a nice variety of flavors.Tommy Parkinson, 7th grade:The packaging is hideous. Come on, black and purple? The chips themselves are incredibly bland, despite all the sugar. They are too thick and crunchy and leave your mouth dry. They also make a lot of crumbs and have a terrible aftertaste. While they are pretty healthy, so are lots of the snacks that taste better.Jane Hohman, 7th grade:Stacy's Pita Chips are very good. I think it's a good product to put in the store. The scrumptious chips may keep kids away from unhealthy potato chips. I enjoy the cinnamon and sugar - good for a sweet tooth. These chips are a perfect crunchiness. Consumers will like the packaging -- how the picture stands out from the black.
