Food Processing's Erin Hallstrom Brings Home Award at 2022 Jesse H. Neal Awards

Erin Hallstrom, Director of Digital Content Strategy for Food Processing, was named the winner of the 2022 Marianne Dekker Mattera Mentor Award at the 68th Jesse H. Neal Awards on April 26. 

The 68th Jesse H. Neal Awards are considered the most prestigious editorial honors in the field of business-to-business journalism. During the award ceremony, held on April 26 in New York City, Food Processing's Erin Hallstrom was the recipient of the Marianne Dekker Mattera Mentor Award. This award honors leaders who excel in mentoring and is presented in memory of Dekker, the long-time Editor in Chief of RNMagazine and Medical Economics to reflect her legacy of mentorship.

Sebastian Mayeres, CEO of knk Software, who presented Erin with the award, remarked, "Erin has a unique grasp on mentorship: a desire to pass on knowledge while also championing those who have a similar hunger for it. In the nearly 14 years Erin has been at Putman Media, she has mentored dozens of aspiring journalists and marketers. Erin is a teacher and a mentor first, and a content creator and strategist second."
