Schwan’s is rebranding its home food delivery service with a new name and look for its trucks.
Schwan’s Home Delivery is changing to Yelloh, a transition that is beginning immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of next year. The delivery trucks will be in Schwan's traditional yellow, with the Yelloh logo in red.
Ranked 64th in the Food Processing Top 100 list, Schwan’s has had a home delivery service since 1952, delivering ice cream at first and later adding frozen foods. Schwan’s operation is the largest home-delivery service operated by a major food processor.
"In addition to evoking our iconic yellow delivery vehicles, Yelloh is a greeting commonly used in place of 'hello' between people who are familiar with one another, and it felt right as we continue to evolve our company to meet the needs of our customers,” Joe Kirby, president and CEO of Yelloh, said in a statement. “Embracing personal connections that form between our people and the communities we serve has set us apart for seven decades and is our biggest advantage in the highly competitive food delivery marketplace."
