Virtual PLMA 'Private Label Week' will replace it Feb. 1-5.
The Private Label Manufacturers Assn. is the latest group to cancel a show because of the pandemic. Its show is being somewhat replaced by a virtual "PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week" Feb. 1-5, 2021.
The 2020 Private Label Trade Show was to take place Nov. 15-17 at suburban Chicago’s Rosemont Convention Center, its home for many years. PLMA says that show will return to that venue Nov. 14-16 in 2021.
"PLMA Live! Private Label Week will provide retailers and private label manufacturers the opportunity to interact and work together via live video meetings and chat communication tools using PLMA’s own digital platform," the association said. "Over the course of five days, with each day dedicated to a different group of product categories, the event will feature online exhibits and private virtual meetings where retail buyers can search for products and network live with store brands suppliers."
