Top Stories from Food Processing, March 16-20, 2020

March 20, 2020
Coronavirus has gone beyond viral, but that's not the only news making headlines this week.

Though it be small, it is mighty. Coronavirus has taken over the world. We've reported on it throughout the week and the month. You can find that coverage in our Coronavirus section.

Also capturing attention this week is Coca Cola, which will take its entire wage structure into account when setting executive salaries after pressure from New York State.

In happier news, the Private Label Manufacturers Association revealed the best private label products of 2019 during its Salute to Excellence Awards, which we covered earlier this week.

Adding some investment dollars to the mix is McKee Foods which plans to invest more than half a billion dollars in capital investments over the next 15 years.

Last, but not least, we put out the call for nominations for our R&D Teams of the Year, so make sure you check out the criteria and submit your team soon (for added an feel-good bump: you are encouraged to nominate your own team!)
