NHB finds reaching audiences in real-time pays off

TheNational Honey Board is using various social media platforms to position honey as the pure and natural sweetener.

The National Honey Board launched its Facebook and Twitter accounts in December 2009. Since then, NHB has gained numerous followers and fans, which has generated considerable awareness of the many benefits and applications of honey. With content such as pop quizzes, recipe suggestions and links back to the NHB Web site, these social networking tools have provided consumers and the food and beverage industry up-to-the-minute honey information.
