John Ruff New IFT President

Former Kraft R&D VP takes over Sept. 1.
John Ruff, formerly a senior vice president at Kraft Foods, is the new president of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), a Chicago-based nonprofit scientific society for professionals engaged in food science and related areas in industry, academia and government. Ruff is the 73rd president of IFT and assumed his role on Sept. 1. During his 36-year career with Kraft (and the former General Foods) Ruff worked in six countries and headed R&D for international and North American businesses.
