Schwan’s Consumer Brands Names Chief Growth Officer

April Anslinger joins as senior vice president and chief growth officer, a new position.
Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc., Bloomington, Minn., a subsidiary of the Schwan Food Co., welcomes April Anslinger, who joins the company as senior vice president and chief growth officer. In this role, she will be responsible for all sales, marketing and customer development functions for Schwan’s Consumer Brands, a leader in marketing and selling branded foods to retail stores throughout North America.

The company says the newly created position is designed to align sales and marketing functions to support Schwan's iconic brands and in-store execution. Anslinger brings more than 20 years of brand marketing experience to the role. Most recently, she served as brand director for the Herbal Essences Global brand at Procter & Gamble Co., where she managed a global brand team spanning across North America, Europe and Asia.

The Schwan's Consumer Brands subsidiary offers brands such as Bon Appétit, Red Baron, Freschetta, and Tony’s pizza as well as Mrs. Smith’s and Edwards desserts, Larry’s potatoes and Pagoda Asian-style snacks.
