Welch’s and TreeHouse Foods both have promoted their interim chief financial officers to permanent positions.

Welch’s announced Feb 12 that Chris Caswell, who has been interim CFO at since September, was formally given the position at the grape growers’ ag coop. Caswell, a certified public accountant, has held financial supervisory positions at a number of companies, including Keurig Dr Pepper.

William Kelley Jr., who joined private-label processor TreeHouse in 2016, has been serving as interim CFO since November. He was hired as comptroller and was promoted to senior VP of corporate and operations finance in 2018. Kelley has worked in finance for other food companies, including Kraft Heinz and Hillshire Brands.
