Kind North America has new CEO

Oct. 21, 2021

Kind Healthy Snacks has named as its new CEO for North America a former executive with Mars Wrigley.

Russell Stokes, who joined Kind as chief growth officer in April, was named Oct. 21 as CEO of Kind North America, effective immediately. Stokes will report to Juan Martin, president and CEO of Kind Healthy Snacks. Stokes had been chief strategy officer at Mars, and before that, had held executive positions at Whirlpool Corp. and Boston Consulting Group.

Stokes replaces Mike Barkley, who had been appointed CEO about two years ago and left the company earlier this year.

"Russell Stokes brings enormous strategic acumen and is very passionate about living our purpose to be kinder to our bodies, communities and planet," Kind founder Daniel Lubetzky said in a statement.
