Nestlé Acquires Essentia Functional Water Brand

Nestlé USA announced on March 5 it acquired Essentia Water, a functional water brand headquartered in Bothell, Washington.

Nestlé USA announced it has acquired Essentia Water, a functional water brand headquartered in Bothell, WA. With sales at $192 million in 2020, Essentia known for pioneering ionized alkaline water.

This transaction is part of Nestlé's transformation of its global water business. Essentia joins Perrier, S.Pellegrino, San Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna as part of Nestlé USA's Premium Waters portfolio.

Recently, Nestlé S.A. announced the sale of its North American Waters business, which included brands such as Poland Spring, Deer Park, Ozarka, Ice Mountain, Zephyrhills, Arrowhead, Pure Life and Splash.
