Oatly, Beyond Meat Top TIME's Inaugural Most Influential Companies in the World List

April 28, 2021
TIME's 2021 Most Influential Companies highlights 100 businesses the magazine feels are making an impact around the world.

What do you get when you combine Food Processing's Top 100 Food & Beverage Companies list and our annual Influential Women in Manufacturing list? You get TIME's Inaugural Most Influential Companies in the World list. We're kidding, of course, but the media brand known for its annual Person of the Year coverage is launching its first-ever Most Influential Companies in the World list.

And on that list this year are two alternative protein companies that are no strangers to Food Processing: Oatly and Beyond Meat.

The media brand solicited nominations from its global network of editors, and correspondents, as well as from industry experts. Companies were then evaluated on factors such as relevance, impact, innovation, leadership, ambition and success.
