Tyson Foods will spend $50 million on year-end bonuses for its front-line workers this year to show its gratitude for their performance during the pandemic.

The one-time bonuses will range from $300 to $700, depending on length of service.

"This is yet another way for us to say thank you and show how grateful we are for our frontline teams' efforts to keep each other safe, our company strong and our world fed over the past year," CEO Donnie King said in a statement.

Tyson was hit especially hard by the pandemic, with dozens of deaths attributed to infections occurring at its plants. Tyson is the defendant in litigation relating to its performance during the pandemic.
