Anheuser-Busch InBev is making a $50 million upgrade to the campus at its St. Louis headquarters that will include a new building for processing seltzer.

Anheuser-Busch InBev is making a $50 million upgrade to the campus at its St. Louis headquarters that will include a new building for processing seltzer.

The dedicated seltzer building will produce beverages including Bud Light Seltzer and Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer. In addition, a can line in the main brewery will be upgraded. The new seltzer building is scheduled for completion later this spring.

The upgrade to the St. Louis campus is part of Anheuser-Busch’s $1 billion plan for capital expenditures over the next two years. Among these is $100 million for the headquarters of EverGrain, an AB InBev unit that will process spent barley and other substances from beer brewing into usable food ingredients, on the St. Louis campus.

“We take an immense amount of pride in our long-standing history here in St. Louis, and this investment epitomizes our deep commitment to our community and to the broader beer industry,” Jim Bicklein, General Manager, Anheuser-Busch St. Louis brewery, said in a statement.
