Danone Names Three New People To Its Executive Committee

Danone SA has named three executives, two from outside the company, to join its executive committee and manage critical functions.

Danone SA has named three executives, two from outside the company, to join its executive committee and manage critical functions including supply chain, food safety, sustainability and more.

Vikram Agarwal will be Danone’s chief operations officer in charge of cycles & procurement, manufacturing and supply chain. Agarwal is a veteran of more than 30 years with Unilever, Avon and Dole Food & Beverages.

Isabelle Esser will be chief research, innovation, quality and food safety officer. Also a Unilever veteran, Esser was most recently chief human resources officer at Barry Callebaut.

Henri Bruxelles has worked for Danone since 1987. Since November 2020, he has been serving as chief operating officer end-to-end design to delivery.

“The completion of the Danone’s Executive Committee team, in particular with the addition of two new senior executives recognized for their expertise, is an important step in bringing Danone back to what made it a unique company: a passion for brands and innovation and excellence in execution, all combined with a pioneering spirit in terms of sustainability,” CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique said in a statement.
