Beyond Meat, the plant-based analogue meat company, has applied for a trademark for the name “Beyond Milk,” indicating a possible expansion into dairy analogues.

The trademark application, filed Aug. 12 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, states as potential uses for the product "bases for making milk shakes; coffee or tea beverages with milk or milk substitutes."

No other information was available from the application. Beyond Meat, which went public in May 2019, has been known up to now for analogue ground meat, sausage and similar products.
