Tyson Foods Adds to its Plant-Based Protein Options

The Raised & Rooted line of plant-based proteins expanded its offerings to include plant-based burger patties, bratwurst and Italian Sausages, and ground.

As temperatures begin to rise across the United States, so too do the number of plant-based protein options available for consumers to enjoy. Tyson Foods' Raised & Rooted plant-based protein brand just announced it was adding plant-based burger patties, Bratwurst and Italian sausages, and ground to its menu. The Raised & Rooted brand, which was introduced in 2019, is available in more than 10,000 retail stores and online. 

“Our products are plants made meatier, and deliver the same delicious flavors, in a better-for-you alternative,” said David Ervin, vice president of marketing, Raised & Rooted.

Coincidently (or not), Beyond Meat announced last week that it would be updating its plant-based protein formulation to make way for a "beefier"-tasting product, which would be available to consumers... this week
