Conagra Spends $100 Million on Troy, Ohio, Meat Snacks Plant

Growing sales of its Slim Jim and Duke's Smoked Sausage products prompts Conagra Brands to spend $100 million to expand its Troy, Ohio, plant where those products are made.

Conagra will add 63,000 sq. ft., including new smokehouses, drying rooms and packaging equipment, in part to enable new product formats. Work is expected to be complete this December and should add 200 new jobs.
